Konerko was a one-man wrecking crew. He smacked a three-run homer in the 1st
inning, slapped a base-hit in the 5th inning and smashed a two-run homer (his
13th of the season) in the 8th inning. Dart totaled 13 on the afternoon.
Knotts(4-0) was the winner allowing 5 runs for the game. Kip Wells(1-5) was
the loser. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 7 hits and 2
